The Steampunk Boiler Room

Hi Ya, Wrimos!
I'm definitely doing NaNo this year... and it will be a SteamPunk novel *gulps*. My first attempt at SteamPunk anything, but I think I have it fairly well set up.

My NaNo username is: Rjjoki I'm actually the ML for the Northern WI region. This is my second year as ML, and I'm really hoping to get some great Write-ins and such going on. But, as anyone knows who has every traveled up this way, everyplace is at least 30 miles aways from everyplace else.... and most places only have a population of 8K or less (We have 8K, and we're the "biggest" town for miles! LOL). SO, it's pretty tough to get people together, other than for online meetings. But we'll see how it goes. Either way, I am really excited about NaNo again this year!

I'm also a bit nervous, though, with this being my first novel in this genre. Thank goodness for October prep! I realized just the other day that I have a major battle scene that takes place in a setting that I knew nothing about! Shwew. Disaster narrowly averted there.
