Steampunk Month

So, I have undertaken this thing known as a Genre Challenge. Basically, I change to a different genre every month and write using only that genre during the month. And guess what? September just so happens to be Steampunk Month. LOL. So, if anyone has any tips...or pointers...or anything like that, I'd be extremely grateful to hear them!
