Movie Talk

A very interesting concept for a story. It's the old west, circa 1870 or so. Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) is a man with no memory, and a very strange bracelet strapped to his wrist. Woodrow Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) is the man who controls the small town of Absolution in the Arizona Territory. Jake is wanted for stealing gold from Woodrow, but the two unite against aliens who attack the town. Of course, the old west rifles are no match for an advanced technonlogy from the stars, but Jake's bracelet is the equalizer. They (the filmakers) do a good job of slowly having Jake recover his memory and not giving too much of the story away. The action is good, the characters believable, and the scenery fantastic. Okay, maybe I'm a little biased because this was filmed in my home state of New Mexico, but still, it's worth a view by anyone who likes action movies.
