Each of us is given a life
in which we have control
There will come a time
when our destiny's unknown.

There’s no such pain or suffering
that could take away our fear
The fear we have in each of us
when our time is drawing near.

An uncomfortable inner feeling
that is felt loud and clear
Makes us say our last “goodbyes”
to those we consider dear.

We always seem to really miss
the ones that we do love
If you look up in the skies
they’re watching from above.

A new life, another beginning
will start when this one ends
Eternal life with God above
has a beginning and no end.

God will be there waiting
to judge on Judgment Day
He’ll ask about your commitment
You had to him each day.

Heaven is so full of blessings
and unconditional love
There’s only joy and happiness
when you’re with God above.

In our final moments
we’ll see our families again
Reunite in peace and love
until God says that’s the end.
