I think it would be great if a bio block would pop up when you hover over an author's name (maybe like an on mouseover command).
That way you could get reference information quickly for reviews without navigating away froma piece you are trying to review.
Why: I try to frame my reviews in context with what is publically available and known about the writer. If someone has shared that they are a new writer, or very young (18 or below), I try to review a piece with that in mind. I try to keep my feedback heavy on the positive, with less in depth critical analysis. It is very important to me that I don't trod all over young, fragile feelings.
I feel that an older writer with more life and writing experience, is more interested in the crtical analysis. They want to know what works, what doesn't and why. I know in my case, I'm are more interested in what does not work, and how to improve.
