To all the avid readers in our writers heart~ Heres what we're reading~ |
I've been told the same thing. I may have seen part of one of the shows, but it must have been based on a book I am yet to read. If you enjoyed the series, I'm sure you'd enjoy the books. When I started the series, I didn't realize just how many books there were. I seem to have stumbled on fantasy late in my reading life. In my state, many of the regional library systems provides digital books for their patrons. That's where I found "Wizard's First Rule" and the next 2 titles in the series. If I don't have a book to listen to when I'm in the car, I feel really out of sorts. The digital books I check out play on Overdrive Media Console. You can play the books using this program and it allows you to pick up exactly where you left off or you can create bookmarks. If you transfer it to a Mp3 player, just check on compatibility. I did some research and most people who listen to audiobooks recommend Sansa players. I have the Sansa Clip+ and am extremely pleased with it. Not as expensive as alot of other players. Of course, you probably know this. I also found Martin's "Fire and Ice" series in the digital library. There's currenlty 3 books in that series. I really hope he publishes the next book soon.
