Meg,

I've been thinking about picking up the first book in The Sword of Truth series. I used to watch the TV show spin-off 'Legend of the Seeker', and I loved it even though it was a little corny. I've heard that fans of the book thought the show didn't come close to being as good, though.

What do you love about the series? I'm tempted to start reading it, but I know it is very long, and there are always so many books on my must read list. Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the books.
