I love the random reads program; however, I find that it's almost useless as a place to find items to review because there are ten years of items out there. I am wondering if there is a way to limit the random reads to those edited within six months or a year. Further idea based on above: I find myself 'randomly reading' items that were prompt from long ago. There's little to no chance they will ever be edited, so I just don't review them. I'd love to have a way to 'random read' only things that are going to be edited. Would there be any way in which you could create an item property to mark an item as 'finished' or perhaps 'unfinished'. 'Finished' could still accumulate reviews, but the reviewers would know that the information they put forth is unlikely to change the item. Alternatively, I would know that the prompt entry from 2007 is still looking for ideas on how to develop it further, even though it hasn't been edited in a while. I knwo about the pages that hook readers up with pieces to review, but I love the random reads for finding authors who are not active in groups or forums. I'd like this in addition to what is already available. I hope you understand what I mean... Meeple |
