Character Driven Fantasy
Three Types of Stories  Open in new Window.
So I'm thinking about this and I'm wondering...is it possible to write character driven fantasy...that people will actually read? Like...the story isn't about the world they live in (even though it's different from our world) and it's not about the mightly warrior going on an epic quest to save the world (though I suppose it could be, except he's more of an anti-hero who would rather not save the world)...so that makes it...literary fantasy?

Something tells me my odds for audience wouldn't be good with such a venture.
