I do read "Scientific American," and "Discover," and a few other science related magazines. I admit, I don't understand all of it, but I do follow most of it. And yes, there is some very wild shit in there. And many years ago, I also studied computer programming. When I said I mix Science Fiction and Speculative Fiction, what I speculate on is the science.

Another term for magic, is supernatural; or magic is at least one category of the supernatural. I have read it stated that, "The supernatural is the natural not yet understood." That was Neal Donald Walsch.

George Lucas mixed a lot of "magic" into "Star Wars" when his characters used "The Force."
