PEP TALK

Now for the tricks & treats ... hmmm ... suppose anyone interested wings carefully across future posts from TEFF Into Caldron Time! (85) ??? WHOOOO!!! Joined wc in 2004 --- October 9, entering year seven.  Whew, where does the time go?

llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
Randomly speaking: Halloween often evokes horror, also dubbed dark. Also: MYSTERIES ... whatever is marketable in today's fiction --- you shall decide.

"EVERYONE HAS A HALLOWEEN STORY"  starting Sept 22 to end Nov 22, 2010  might turn people away who prefer instant win stats as opposed to longer decisions.  However, when we submit to publishers there's tons of months before stats for works rendered ala e-submissions or online writing contest entries ... are revealed.

Plus, please, please, relax, research, take time to create, re-re-e-re-edit, plot, stretch,  polish ... while these thinking or re-vamping weeks often mean better stories.  Even if you do not win you may win elsewhere. At the very least, look on the bright side, you now own a brand new HALLOWEEN STORY. Or another one, in some cases.  Yes!

'Tis true whenever allowing multiple submissions many authors tend to outdo themselves! Visitors to my contests can see that easily enough. I don't believe in tying the hands of anyone who catches this crafty, magical season's creative bent & beautiful setting. *Leaf*

Thus this contest is geared toward eventual designated winners via producing the piece, & waiting for outcome which serious authors hoping to sell their works, face at their discretion all year long.

Over the years, my fondest memories as "AUTHORS DISCUSSION CLUB"  President always were finding  submissions awaiting to be handled with kid gloves, read and reviewed all in good time.

My Public Revs for contest entries are not editing corrections. These will sum works, comment on content, etc.

Autumn is my favorite season. Submissions --- All in one place like this is relaxing & accommodating for this hostess.

TREAT: Ooooh, OTHERS ...  may see your works below while readers seek Halloweeny tales --- maybe on a cold night, before cozy proverbial hearths -- to tip the mood.

BEST OF ALL FRONTLINERS offers a Halloween Theme this year.  FRONTLINERS now rewards thru gp ... all group membership per review!! Imagine! So, be ready to be viewed by lot's of secretive tricksters making the rounds.

This very night: Casting a major spell since I seriously wish your efforts to grab moi.  Yes, give me eloquence, please push laughter, don't worry to scare.  As for Creative Writing --- this is what I need.

One last thing: strongly suggest all writers who consider short story scripting, please read a few short stories from a print source. Thanks -- looking for fine LIT ... Oh, yes.

Thus concludes a semi pep talk from the heart of a contest hostess who shall always back your efforts via an encouragement which reaches out to ALL authors.

There may be more of these pep talks. And this forum is open to posting whatever you wish to talk about. Now, looking for some ONLINE links in the HALLOWEEN BAG.

Let's share. Suppose you find a a Halloweeny type link to set the mood. Well, post it, my friend, by all means.
