We added the "Folder Summary" a few months ago, just after the portfolio change, to allow authors to give a brief description of the folder's contents once someone opens it. Here's the news post from the original announcement: "Newport - Folder Enhancements!"

Section 4: Folder Summary
This text displays when someone opens this folder in-line within your portfolio. Small WritingML tags, like {item} and {post}, will work here, but larger format tags, like {bitem} and {image}, will not. You may use up to 750 characters in this window.

Utilizing this field will help you out. Just edit your folders to add the Folder Summary.
