New lady here, this midnight but don't worry, I'm alright!
by A Non-Existent User
Hello everyone, you may call me the lady of IL. Since childhood, I've always been very fond of creating both art and later on during my life,I've found my best hobby to be writing. I've had many magickal experiences during my life, which have mostly been from nature. It's a little past midnight here now, and have seen the beautiful midnight light, moon light that is. I felt greatly drawn and compelled to step outside to take a look around with a light on to see just a tad bit more. To my surprise on my parent's drive way, I seen two small little black eyes that shined from below and in the front of me. I couldn't help but get closer to see who's eyes were staring up at me, and not long after I had approached the little shiny black eyes, it hopped away from me! It was a baby bull frog! You see, my parents live along a small lake and so some of the brave little bull frogs hop up and out of the lake at night to explore the land sometimes. That particular little one who was only around an inch in size happened to be sitting upon their drive way this midnight and I of course, being curious as I normally am about little observers of nature, I found him sitting there, staring up at me!

My Mother wasn't sleeping yet, so I went back into the house to tell her who and what I had found. I excitedly told her to come outside to see him with me. She followed me outside and he was still sitting in the same place where I had left him at, which was a little ways from the door outside of the house in the back yard. I tried to catch the little bull frog again to pick him up and show her to him. After he hopped away and around from me again, I finally caught him and got to show him to her, but only after he hopped again out of my hands around 3 more times.

After I showed the baby bull frog to my Mother, I told her that I'd go put him back into the lake behind my parents house. "Will you be alright out here?" My Mother asked me. And I said, "Yes I'll be perfectly fine." So I slowly walked toward the lake and gently put him back into the lake. Right before I left him, I saw that he came back up toward the surface at the lake's edge, right where I left him at. Then, I told him that I'd miss him. What a cute little baby bull frog he was! I do love frogs and any other kind of creature of nature and is why I told him that before I walked away.

What a wonderful midnight this has been for me! Some of my best experiences have indeed been with nature, especially those of the animal as well as the insect kingdoms! I've also had great experiences with the arachnid kingdom too at times, such as when I got to pet a wild tarantula during my 8th grade trip with my family to Sedona, Arizona that I'll treasure forever for the years to come.

Well, I do hope to get to know more of you on this wonderful and exciting site. I'll be here as often as I can and whenever I can (due to working a full time job and writing books on the side as a hobby) to read as well as contribute more of my time in reading what you write as well. It's great to finally have been able to find a place where I can both write and interact in a clean, fun and enjoyable way with other authors, without the bologna of how most people seem to behave online now a days on most other sites.

Peace to all,
ladyofil
