Noticing Newbies

Howdy folks,

I already love the feel of this site, it feels homely and creative! I look forward to overcoming some unusual issues I have with reading and getting back my love of literature by reading anything and everything during my time here. I'm currently studying English & American Literature at University here in the UK and despite some good grades, I rarely read my course material or anything else for that matter. Its disgusting I know and I am not proud to admit this at all. I hope I can use this site to really get back to why I chose this degree and hopefully ignite my motivation to continue into further study. Perhaps writing my own work will be in my future with all the inspiration I will gain from this site! I'll probably just lurk and observe for a while though. Thanks for having me. I hope to be here a long time.
