I'm always thrilled to meet another scientist/science fiction fan! There are a couple excellent science fiction resources here on WDC. First, a great SF group is the "Invalid Item" , and it has a discussion forum called the "Invalid Item" . Next, consider subscribing to the (Unofficial) Science Fiction Newsletter. Visit the "Invalid Item"  for information and a link to the subscription form. With your background we would love to have your input and participation in WDC's SF community.
