Always so good to hear from you.
Your significant contribution to the writers that populate this website is much appreciated, at least by this author.
I am keeping busy these days.

I'll be Master of Ceremonies at a clinic in Sugar Land (just outside of Houston) being conducted by the Houston Writers Guild, July 17. Bev Vincent will be speaking. Bev is the author of several very successful books on Stephen King, written with Stephen's encouragement and high praise. A couple of months ago I MC'd a Houston Wrtiers Guild event that attracted about 150 writers from all over the Lone Star State. The all-day event featured sessions taught by screenwriters and successful authors, and was attended by three literary agents, Peter Steinberg, founder of The Steinberg Agency, Ellen Peppus, of the Signature Literary Agency, and Amy Burkhardt of Kimberly Cameron, and Associates. The panel discussion I MC'd with them focused on what qualities literary agents are seeking and what they wish they could avoid. We are planning another similar event for this October.

I continue to work on The Festival, a full-length novel that builds upon the events established in my short story called, The Book.

I am also working on a new short story, a chiller, called Peripheral Vision.
