Old Newby?
by Butch50 Author IconMail Icon
At my age being considered a "Newby" is quite the treat, so I want to say Thank You!

I have been flirting with writing for a few years. I am an avid reader, I think that is what spurred me to attempt writing.

Most of my "stuff" is in the biographical narrative style, with humor intended. I use tongue in cheek and exaggeration as my main tools. If you read my stuff you will see that it is about normal day to day activities. Well maybe not so normal when those activities are viewed through the lens of humor.

I currently have eight items posted in my portfolio, they are kind of varied. As time permits I will post some more. I really enjoy the feedback, both positive and negative. I think I might learn more from the negative (pain is the best teacher isn't it?) so please, if you read my stuff and you see something you don't like, don't hesitate too much to say so - quiver on the edge perhaps but then let loose if it is valid criticism. Of course, positive feedback is always gratefully accepted and appreciated too!

Thanks for checking my stuff out!
