Ooooh good, I like scary guys, lol. We are glad you are here and chiming right in. The forum needs more talkers, lemme tell yah Let me say, I don't renounce memberships; Don't you recall that small pinprick when I said welcome to the group? That was for my ink and quill (and maybe a sample or two for me), you are a member for life or until the group disbands. Once in, I don't remove yah, unless of course WDC rules and group policies aren't followed. You can leave on your own, but I think you will find such an interesting mix of characters, you wont want to leave! Regarding the vampire side of your question, basic characteristics started with the king of the undead, Bram Stoker. Today's modern authors have varied the 'undead' character so much, the basic characteristics got lost with most of today's vampires. Not a bad thing mind you but I still prefer my dead guys classic; pale, cold to the touch, mesmerizing eyes, cast no reflection or shadow, sleep in coffins and/or crypts, deterred by garlic, holy water and crosses. Running water has always been an issue for them to cross over, of course they need blood (and with this being a 13+ room, I'll stop with the needs ), oh and course the sun will fry them and they have a problem with stakes to the heart! There are many more and after your post I am sure another member will be chiming in and I am not sure what characteristics of her ideal creature of the night gets her going. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
