Exposed!
by A Non-Existent User
A while back I joined a Christian Speculative fiction blog group. We blog together. Although some of the group knew that I was LDS from the start, some just discovered it. I don't make an issue out of my denomination, but then no one asked and no one else has declared their specific churches. Well, that is well and fine except that in some eyes, Mormons are not "Christians" and suddenly because of my presence they don't dare officially call the group a "Christian" group lest someone challenge it. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if at least one person is watching the number of views we have been getting. The number has been going down recently and it's possible that I've been "exposed". With all due respect, I'm not sure I can blame them for wondering if it's my fault.

I googled some questions and have been reading other people's opinions about whether an LDS writer can find acceptance in the general "Christian" market. It seems a mixed bag out there, some saying that it's possible, but a seriously uphill battle all the way.

What do you guys say? Have you run into this problem? Advice?
