Suggestion Box

I know that there are many ways already to keep track of other people's blogs, but I was wondering if there would be a way to "follow" a blog in such a way that when the owner of the blog posts a new entry, we received an email notifying us that there is a new blog entry.

This feature would also works well for novels in progress. Every time the owner of the book posts a new chapter, the followers would get an email notification that there was a new entry.

Just an idea that occurred to me while going through the regular rounds of visiting each blog in my favorites to see if anything new had been posted.
