Recently, after reading the Short Shots contest prompt, wrote a short story and I entered it. During judging I altered my settings for the item
but not my item. (I believe I had no chance of winning, but) this action changed my "Modified" date, technically disqualifying my entry.

My question/suggestion - Is it feasible to separate the modification date so it shows differently when the content is altered or resaved - as opposed to
showing the same way even when the content remains unchanged?
