A broken leg
I need some real life wisdom here, having never broken a bone myself.

I have a character who's just broken her leg. I need to know
- will she spend time in the hospital (and if that depends on the break, what kind of break would make that happen?)
- how long will she have to be off her feet completely? (Or will crutches be an option right away)
- how long until she has a walking cast?
- how long to heal altogether?
