I'm drowning in these violent seas of silver,
burning beneath a torrid orb of golden flames,
searching in these empty skies of azure,
the darkened world beneath the waves.
she stands upon the silent shores of summer,
the amber sun;the clouds ablaze,
smooth horizons leave none to worry,
under the scrutiny of her steady gaze.
she dreams in black and white she whispers,
through her reddened lips words flow,
of absolutes, and of absolutely everything she knows
I'm stranded in a world of subtle hues and shades.
I wish I could color her perception.
