Hi Starr. Im Luke, a 22 year old (very) novice poet. I was told i should look you up by sonali who read some of my work but said she thought she wasnt the person to review dark free verse type poetry. I love your article on why you write the darker stuff, and have to agree that the relief it can bring is emmense, helping to stem the tide of dark thoughts and feelings, something that at this moment of time i am in the midst of.
I would really like it if you had the time, if you could cast your eye over some of my work and see what you think, it is mostly free verse at this time but i am in the process of writing more structured forms, they just take me a long time to get to the right place where i am happy with them.
I will look over your stories as that article grabbed my attention and i will send my thoughts to you, i am actually very excited to see the "darkness".
