Noticing Newbies

Hi. Not a newbie (but then neither are you, any more), but I am from the UK. Liking your handle - Hitchhiker's is surely the greatest radio drama that ever got made into a five-volume trilogy, a TV series and a film.

British and American humour are very different, as I have seen from browsing this site. You've inspired a blog post - thank you. I'm listening to an audiobook of PG Wodehouse as I type, the dry humour is making my pause every thirty seconds to hold my insides steady while I laugh out loud.

Sorry to see that no-one else has replied to your post. Where are all the UK writing.com members? I know they exist, I just can't find them!
