Noticing Newbies

Hello, bluemooner! Welcome to Writing Dot Com (WDC)! I'm sure that you'll find plenty of wonderful things to do around here. Given time, we will come find you and look at your work.

I know all about feeling "rushed" to get something on the site for people to look at. I feel that same pressure and have to pull back on my own reins. lol Sometimes, being a short story writer, or a novelist, has its drawbacks. It all takes so much time! lol

I just want to take a moment and point out something to you. No writing is ever a waste of time! If nothing else, it helps you to explore various ideas and helps you to find out where your strengths are. It also helps to point out areas that you might be weak in and need work. Every little bit always helps. With each piece, you can only get better.
