Suggestion Box

I'd like something like that. The thing is, the black text on white gives me a headache after a while. (Of course, nothing is as terrible as white text on a black background.{{e:shudder})

The current color is so much softer on the eyes, for online reading, than any other site. But I think any soft color---grey to shale or anything but white, would make for headache-free reading. Even just the slightest off-white would be nice.

Background color is far from The Reason I stay on Writing.com, but it is the reason I read so much while I'm here. It's the reason I'm able to finish novels in a night. And it's the reason I proofread my pieces here rather than on Word.

And a white background doesn't look more professional to me. It looks stark and uninteresting.

And, you know, headache-y.
