One of the things that makes me (and others I know) quickly loose interest in a website is a dull, too-common appearance.
It's a shame to hear that you'll quickly loose interest in Writing.Com based on the background change from pale yellow to white. We'd like to think there's enough to Writing.Com to keep your interest, but of course, that's up to you!
