A month-long novel-planning challenge with prizes galore. |
Great job! Isn't it funny how much information can be contained in an outline? I'm surprised how much more I add each time I work on mine. I'm glad I do the actual writing of the story on my computer because I'd run out of paper and ink if I didn't! My October 15 outline is 6 pages, printed with double spacing. I've been filling in more details for the October 22 challenge and I've filled every spare line with two more lines, written in the margins, and overflowed onto several more pages. I can't seem to put it down. I take it up when I go to bed and I wake up and night and write a little more. Then I grab it first thing in the morning and write a bit while I get my husband's breakfast started at 5am. By the time he leaves at 6, his tail lights are still in sight when I latch on to it again and scribble in a few more ideas. It's like an obsession, I tell ya! HELP! I'm writing and I just can't stop! I've thought of sequals and prequals and sagas of generations yet to come... the great, great grandchildren of my characters! Write on, everyone... on and on and on and on and on... Deborah... getting back to the outline while I make dinner |
