I'm using the day to think about my characters and how they might react in different situations. I'm also trying to decide if I want to tell parallel stories. My main character remains in Ireland while his siblings journey to America with Mr. Trevelyan, his family, and Brodie. Should I alternately tell both stories or just stick to Jakodi's story and have his siblings fill in pertinent details of their story when he arrives in America? I can't decide what to do. I'm thinking of writing both stories. Perhaps I'll write a main story up to the point where Jakodi stays behind. Then the reader could have a choice of following Jakodi's saga or following the siblings' journey.
I don't know what to do but I'm open to suggestions.
