Thanks for the wonderful welcome. Yeah, I am usually using NanoWrimo to write one of the sequels in my novel series, so I usually have alot of character background and plot stuff worked out anyway before I even start. This year I am working on a sequel to the first book that I am currently working on for another series, so I have some plot and some character stuff figured out, but not all of it yet. That's why I thought it would be a great idea to join this contest! I also don't really look at the word count as much as I do how much time I am putting into the writing itself. I just set out a few hours each day and pump out as much writing as I possibly can before the end of that time block. Sometimes I am up until midnight or 1am during the week and sometimes I am using most of my weekend to finish NanoWrimo. I get writer's adrenaline, I guess.
Anyway, thanks again for the welcome and I look forward to October and the coming NanoWrimo in November!
