A place to discuss the campfire and all that jazz |
Hmmmmm and there I was thinking we were keeping magic and all that as free as possible as long as we werent the magical folk themselves. oh yeah... I AM BACK! YEY ME! God I miss New York already.... But I missed you guys too. I was thinking mega hard about what I was writing out there. *yawns* I'm sooooo tired. (it wasn't the same without you flex!!!!) Character help huh? Well as listed above there's the whole sacrificial/druid/priestess/heiress thing going on. Oh and the shieldmaidens. I suppose you could take inspiration from women such as Boudica or Queen Gwendolyn? I mean... Boudica actually invoked Andraste the goddess of war and Gwendolyn fought her husband Locrinus and won. Otherwise there were women like Scathach who was a legendary scottish warrior and martial arts teacher who trained some of the most prolific legends like Chuchullain. None of them were barbarians. They even wrote history. *grins* I guess they could have been like the Amazonians but they weren't but even the Amazonians weren't barbaric. Then there's the Nanmans, they were once lead by Zhu Rong, a feirsome queen who ruled through her husband who's love she was able to manipulate. She was awesome. Non-warrior women could have been like Cleopatra VII or Atlanta or Unniyarcha who were all famed for their beauty and valour as well as their skills. Of course they could also be Valkrie relations non? The chosen of the slain... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valkyries If that's any help this late in the game.... Let's step it up yeyness! xx |
