Silenced Night Eleven years plus some was I when first they called my name, to sing with others in the show. No thank you, just the same. I was given to know quite promptly, that options were not mine. Not only would I learn the words, but sing for party time.. So proud I would fly solo. Silent Night, I was to sing. My voice claimed the high pitch, all others were too low. Practice began with the fall, two times a week at least. Such a warbler I soon became. Special me, then grew so tall. The star I was just fit so well, the attention so sublime, I felt the stage was mine alone, so, how was I to tell? Three days before the grand event, disaster would sure begin with disappearance of my voice, I knew not where it went. Deposed I was from center stage, direct to a row in back and. . .I was then abruptly told a girl would sing of Silent Night, since my marbles came of age. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
