I got a study that says that if codeine, morphine or whatever derivatives of opiates, don't work much for fibro patients because the receptors for it to latch onto and do its job, are not doing their job. So the pain killes are not hooking onto the receptors.
Not good news, but at least it helps understand why our meds only take a certain kind of pain away, eventually, but not exactly effective on fibro pain.
