I like the idea of having someone who can balance out the rest of the group, but why would those qualities (lazy, morally-bankrupt, alcoholic) have made the char picked for this mission? I suppose if you want to write something into his/her background as to
why they're that way, that would be cool. I can think of lots of ways to use that.
Another caution, and this is for everyone, is that drama is all fine and good, but I will not tolerate someone who makes his/her char impossible to get along with. Not everybody has to like everyone else, but let's not have antagonism just for the sake of adding a little 'spice.' Trust me, there'll be plenty of that.
Having a char with some battle skills would not go amiss, either. Kulkharad's char is a displaced former noble, so I think we've got that aspect covered. Remember, if you're in Ives when the story starts that everyone (with a few exceptions) absolutely loves Riordan, he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.
That's all I can think of for now, let me know that piques your imagination at all and we can get to work! Good to have you, Emerald!
Oh, yeah, and as far as Kulkharad goes, he actually lives in another country and has college finals he's studying for right now (finals are next week). We've caught him at a bad time, so I'd suggest, Chelsea, that we go ahead and skip him for now. We can edit in a post later on if need be. So, I believe it falls to Jazz's turn. Let's see, three-day limit would take it to either Emerald or Kim on Friday night. If we can't get your chars sorted out by then, we'll just skip back to the beginning (me) and give you some more time.
Sound like a plan?
