Does anyone here ever watch the Family Guy? I ask because there's an episode where Stewie (I think, either that or Brian) is driving a blue truck and runs over a man walking down the road (everyone who knows should be thinking Stephen King at this moment). Stewie (or Brian) hops out of the truck and runs over to the man in the road and says, "Oh my god! Are you Stephen King?" The man says, "No, I'm Dean Koontz." Stewie (or Brian) says, "oh," then hops back in the truck, backs up over the man, then drives over him a third time and continues on his way. I know there are several Koontz fans out there. I've given Koontz several chances to make a fan out of me, but he's never been able to hook me. I read the book all the way through in the hopes that it gets better, but it never does. His characters are thinner than the paper they're printed on. and the plot is far too predictable. Anyway, I never laughed so hard when I saw that. Just thought I'd share. Sorry if anyone here is a Koontz fan. ~Vermillion Angel~ ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** "I recognize terror as the finest emotion...."--Stephen King "I'm your fear. I'm your monster.
