Absolute Horror Film Forum

Personally, I'm stuck between two films. The Howling, and An American Werewolf in London. Both of these are fantastic films, containing the best werewolf transformations ever seen on screen, and they both invoke terrifying chills as well as laughter at all of the right moments. I can't pick between either. I think Werewolf in London has a better script, but I love the scenes and idea of The Howling so much more. What do you all think? I also love Silver Bullet and Bad Moon, those are both underated werewolf films, and you know what, I miss the classic werewolf films. When are they going to come out with a really good, original, frightening hairy shapeshifter movie again?
