The other day I was walking past the long grass (maybe 5 feet tall) in the lower pasture. The wind was blowing through the grass making a musical, hissing sound. Immediately, I recognized that I would write it into my next piece...maybe even begin with the sound. Often a spark of recognition like this plays a big part in my writing, even if I don't know what the story will be about. Anyway, the undulating, hissing grass made an erotic dance into my piece called "Vapour Rub".
Pura Vida
PS I agree that music can be profoundly moving and I have used music several times to create a story.
