Noticing Newbies

While I watch people in the room mingle, I finally decide to step up and introduce myself. My name is Angela. I am a published author, but I would love feedback from actual writers as well as avid readers. My fans currently consist of my former classmates at the university, my friends, and my family. A great boost for the ego anytime I want to hear how great I am. But when it comes to getting constructive criticism...here's where I'm lacking.

So, please, any advice is much appreciated. I know my stories are good, but they are a far cry from what they could be.
