speaking of more realism
by A Non-Existent User
Dean Koontz. I remember when I picked up my first book of his. I sat there read it and thought oh my god he is ripping off someone else of course at the time I didnt look further into it. But after awhile I read more of his things and realized he is a good horror writer. He puts his characters into situations that allow the reader to feel and think. Situations where I sat there and went wow. A more of a realistic tone to his writing, while giving us the horror that can develop by being caught in a situation.
