Re: Word Count
Each author can get a word count for their own items. If the contest your judging has word count requirements, require that entrants post the word count in their entry submission or in the entry itself.

For example, in "Short Shots: Official WDC Contest, there is a rule that states:

*Bullet* 2000 words or less: Word count must be provided at the bottom of the item or your entry will be disqualified.
