Another update ... I'm sort of revising the basis of the story (in a way) and now that I have got that almost done, I'm basically ready to start writing again!

Short description: two ships, one Federation and one Vulcan, are sent to investigate a ship's mysterious disappearance from the region of a strange glowing sphere known as "the Rift." But Vulcan captain T'Vral and her ship are pulled in to the sphere, and, unable to escape, disappear. Sent to early 21st century Earth, in another universe, she and her crew are faced with many challenges. And back home, Starfleet captain Christoph Andersen is faced with problems of his own.
