It's unfortunate that boys and girls mature at different rates. That, too, will change. I always gravitated towards the slightly older guys, in high school.
I'm sorry there isn't an easy answer. I remember feeling like I was never going to be old enough - but now I wish I'd spent more time enjoying being young. Grab it! Live it! You don't need to put up with immature boys . . . but you never know when you might find a treasure!
