I tried that at one point and failed miserably. Instead, I found that carrying a tiny notebook and pen around works wonders for those random bursts of inspiration or just jotting notes. They make tiny Composition books and gel pens that fit wonderfullly in your coat pockets. So when your muse appears on short notice, you'll be ready for her.
