A sanctuary for weary writers, inky wretches, and aspiring professional novelists. |

It's nice to be able to sit down some times and not have to really think about the words you're reading." This sort of cerebral break is why I love to devour romance novels. I can read one in about 2 hours and it's just a complete mental and physical break from everything. The writing is rarely brilliant and the stories all start to seem rather formulaic when you've read enough of them but they are easy going language and have that feel-good aspect that is appealing. It's interesting to browse the book stores and library in all genres to see that there is a wealth of variety on the shelves. Pretty much everything sells if you find the right buyers. Sure, they mightn't be best sellers but it's reassuring to know that if we put our time and heart into our work with perseverence it will find it's place.
