I have an iMac 1.9 Ghz PowerPC G5, OS X 10.9, Safari 2.0.4. I'm pretty sure it's not a virus since all the other websites I visit load at the same speed they always have. And I did empty my cache and then reboot, which helped a bit but not much or for long.
