When I don't have humour to hide my inner self behind, I'm probably the most self-conscious poet on the site .
I remember well picking up the courage to enter my first Slam here, with a short and very personal poem "Today has been our last tomorrow" . And as I anxiously cringed, awaiting my first review, who came to my rescue? Yup, you've guessed it, the wonderful Kenzie !
...
"... the word crafting of this poem is excellent. I've read this again and again - 3 times now, actually - and each time it has hit me more strongly. There has been much written about the importance of not waiting to express love, but this is one of the best I've seen."
Thanks for all your support then and since, Kenzie, and have a great day!
