That sounds like a fabulous idea! I've seen similar things - though more story than cookbook - in children's and middle reader books. They tell the story and include the recipes as they go. The kids like these books.

I haven't seen it so much for adults but that only means that there is a definite opening for this genre. I say go for it.

How about this idea to add on to yours. A fairy tale cook book. (Can you tell I'm a kid's writer - sheesh). Anyway, telling the fairytales in a new and unique way and having the recipes of their various adventures - Big Bad Wolf Pie????

Just thinking out loud. I won't ever write this book or any other cook book so if someone wants to run with this idea, go for it.
