That's not a quick and easy question. The initial introduction was for the reader's benefit, so it's entirely plausible to use the character's name after he has been introduced, but if you're sticking strictly through the third person POV's knowledge, then you wouldn't want to do so. It just depends on your characters, your story, and exactly how you're telling it.

What do you feel would work or be right for this story and these characters?
