Does the main character actually have to be a superhero? Because I've had an inspiration to write about a child who imagines she's a superhero, and what she would do, the main villain she would face, etc. They'd still be the escapades of a superhero, but one that was imagined instead of "real." Would that qualify?
Don't give up on your contest, Ben! I think it's a good idea. Post on the Contest Listings page again, maybe extend the deadline a couple more days, and just be patient. Oftentimes you can count on a lot of last-minute entries (like mine ).
